Talk Without Speaking

I believe Earth Hour to be more of an educational tool than anything else and I am dismally disheartened by all the naysayers. I’m not fooled enough to think that this will have a savings on energy use but it does, hopefully, get people thinking about energy use and how they could use less of it.

And, yes, I found it wonderful to sit there in the darkness and just have that quiet time to think (and lightly nap), and chat with Vic. My cell phone played its role and its battery died at the beginning. It made me think about how I would like to take that hour more often without light, distraction, internet, phones and just sit silently. Can you imagine the difference that would make?
