Not one to place much faith in horoscopes, I nevertheless take the time for the Straight Stars, the horoscope at the end of the Georgia Straight. Hey, I’ve no doubt just finished reading Savage Love so I might as well continue on, right? I have to say, when I read this recent horoscope I stopped and took note:
It’s been a strange, strained and wondrous time for most Leos I know. They’ve overcome tremendous hurdles and Herculean tasks just to stay alive. Heart-rending and ego-busting events have taken their toll. Now the Lion raises its head, stretches and yawns, and heads off on more adventures, giving thanks as it goes.
Living in a society where we’re supposed to have a cure or a solution to everything it’s humbling to recognize that there are some events that have no redress except for time, time and oh god (and bananarama), more time. As I whispered in her ear, “There are some things that never heal”.
Nice blog. I can understand why you don’t believe much in astrology. It might have to do with the kind of exposure you’ve had to it. Have you ever read a Martin Schulman book? They are about Karmic Astrology,- finding your past life karma and why you’re here in this life. You might get a very different view and enjoy it.
