Talk Without Speaking

The longest night of the year; good riddance to you. I welcome the increased light. May it be the sun that is so bright that it leaves no shadows. May it be the light that reveals and heals all. I want the light to end this year and start the next. May the light blow out these sleepless nights and make their fears fade. May the light shine upon our faces and bring us warmth and may the warmth dry our tears. May it make us whole, once more.

Lift my days, light up my nights.

2005 blog, I am off. I bid you farewell. I am off to the land of computer-less, tv-less, rain forest. Where, he said, that the deer could be hunted with an apple and a hammer (I do not plan to put this to the test). I am scared. I am hopeful. I do not know what to fear. I do not know what to hope.
