Always great for a laugh are Apple announcement days and, if you’re in the Apple loop as much as I am you know that today is yet another, One More Thing.
The rumors are flying, all the apple sites are crashing under the load, no one knows what’s going on but this doesn’t stop everyone from guessing. It’s fervour at its best and worst. Whatever comes of it, it won’t meet our expectations and the entire afternoon will be spent flaming and bitching.
My absolute favourite rumor so far is that Steve Jobs, disgruntled with the greedy music labels quest to increase prices on the iTMS, is starting a band and will be covering all 500,000+ songs so that he doesn’t have to worry about licensing agreements.
It’s 24 minutes past 10 damnit - where the hell is the news so I can start bitching about it?
