In Skyridge, September 7th was the birthday day. In a community of 22 homes, I think there were 5 people who shared the same birthday. I’m sure that Axe could tell you the statistics of this being the case; perhaps it’s even statistically likely - I have no idea.
These last few days have felt like that too. Birthday celebrations doing their best to get my mind off of things for a few minutes, a few seconds. I’ll take anything.
Cooked raw fish, food-poisoning fun on Friday. Celtic-rocking, stagette-following, poutine-eating, porn-kareoke fun on Saturday. Last night was smooth-as-silk champagne and way, way too much of the richest chocolate cake which is probably one of the culprits in why I am up this early and not catching some desperately needed sleep.
If you have 23 people in a room then the odds of two of them sharing a birthday are 50-50. Based on that I doubt that having 5 people share a birthday out of 22 households is that rare an event but I haven’t done the math (nor am I likely to).
