Talk Without Speaking

Ok, completely gratuitous post to see if all the hair I have lost trying to integrate Wordpress and Gallery2 has been worth it.

Ok, seems like it although the thumbnail is *way* too small for what I’m looking for. (I chose a nice, calming, life-is-good, sunshine, happiness pic to integrate first, you’ll note) If I go to the wpg2 forums one more time tonight, though, that will be it. Baby steps. Baby steps.

Wordpress was effortless to install. Migrating my posts from pMachine rated 2/10 on the migraine scale. Installing gallery2 was amazing; the installer is WAY improved. Getting an image library configured for gallery2 was almost enough to kill me and poor Chris took the brunt of my need for violent catharsis. Installing the plugin (wpg2) that integrates the two of them wasn’t too bad (3/10) but configuring it continues to be an interesting (8/10) exercise.

Expect lots of blips and brokenness on my update-my-blog make-work project.
