Cruised on up to Elvin Lakes this past weekend for some winter camping action. Despite being slightly nervous about the rainy Saturday forecast our fears proved to be unfounded and we had an absolutely spectacular time. What a fantastic hike! I really can’t believe that I’ve been hiking into Garibaldi Lake all this time when Elfin is so much closer. Additionally, there’s something about the trail itself that I just prefer (at least for winter hiking).
We cheated slightly and stayed in the Elfin Lakes shelter. I scribbled a little journal together with some pictures and rather than muck around with putting pics in here I just figured it would be easier this way. It’s a 800k pdf that I easily put together with Apple’s Pages.
You left out the long section about how much you missed me.
