Talk Without Speaking

Cat and I went out for dinner with her parents last night as it was her Dad’s birthday. We were walking around downtown and I had an itching to see I, Robot but it wasn’t playing. However, AvP was.

My expectations for this movie were utterly in the toilet after having watched the trailers so I was very happily surprised. I further know that the movie has been trashed in the reviews but I walked out laughing my ass off. It was entirely entertaining. I was somewhat disappointed that they toned down the gore level so as to allow all those pg-13′ers to come watch but what the hell.

<minor spoiler warning ahead>

I had to laugh when the alien queen gets dragged down into the chilly depths of the Antartica ocean, “In Very Deep Water, No One Can Hear You Scream”. That definitely should have made the tagline of this movie.
