I was cycling to work today and I realized that there are a lot of things that I am looking forward to. Some of them are big, some small, some of them will likely occur soon, some of them seem very far off. Anyway, here they are in what will, in theory, be chronological order.
Oct 1 - I get to pick up 2 kayaks from Bowen which I’ll have for 6 months. This is my ‘payment’ for doing all the super-fun kayak guiding all summer which I would, of course, have done for absolutely nothing. Having the kayaks and being able to paddle whenever I want all winter long is going to rock. My inlaws just bought me a Lilipod which means I can take my iPod paddling as well. Uber-sweet!
November? - New U2 album. I mean, hey, need I say more? Although rumored to be their best album yet I know that I should keep my expectations under control. I have, of course, completely failed to do this. Even better than the album will be the tour!! Yee hah - sign me UP.
End of Year? - World of Warcraft. Ok, kinda geeky. So sue me. I love Blizzard games - they are always the best. This game is going to be so much fun.
Aug 2005. Double whammy. This is going to be a great month. Although I’m not *exactly* sure of the order Jay is getting married and I’m going hiking in Yoho National Park for a week. Hopefully I’ll be able to knock off one of my life to-do items.
Summer 2006 - Ok - stretching it a bit here but the current plan is to bike from Vancouver to Halifax, a mere 8000km or so. Once Catherine finishes her Masters this plan is going to go into high-gear. Crazy.
