I’m working night shift tonight and I swear that all of our users must have simultaneously died or something because I don?t think I have ever been here when it has been so dead. So this explains why I decided to give up on my over 100 day uptime of my work G4 (MacOS 10.2.5) and install OS 9 on it. The fact that I even remotely care about how long my computer has been up and running is oh, so, sad.
Well, I didn?t overwrite OS X, of course, I just wanted access to the Classic environment. Why in hell would I want that, you ask. Why, to play battle-girl of course!
In other painful news Cat got an email from one of her uncles asking us to call a certain phone number so we can place our support *against* same-sex marriages. Sigh. I know that Catherine doesn?t want to get into the fact that we actually support same-sex marriages in addition to having many homosexual friends with her uncle but I feel so upset by the whole thing that I am tempted to give the whole thing a whirl.
Down. Down, boy!
