Talk Without Speaking

Been relatively ages since I’ve posted here. Relative to the age of the universe I posted right now

With things entirely screwed up at work for the last week my brain has been entirely wrapped up in trying to figure out how to deal with that. I think/hope that things are all resolved now and I’m only feeling residually hurt by the whole thing.

Another major thing that took place this last week is that I suddenly came to the understanding that it’s less than 6 weeks until we head up to the Arctic! So much to do! So much to organize! Cat and I went to MEC yesterday which is, I imagine, the first of many pre-trip MEC visits. ($285 - ouch)

Searching for the correct topographical maps and worrying about how to get fuel tanks for the stoves into the arctic since the airlines won’t let you fly with them; these are the things that are consuming my brain at the moment.

Time is flying by and it seems like I’ve barely even begun to think about this trip and everything that needs to be done in order to prevent it turning from the trip of a lifetime to the nightmare of a lifetime.
