Talk Without Speaking

Well, not really but I did end up picking up the eMac the other day. Holy crap this computer is heavy. The poor fellow that I bought it from was quite fed up with it I believe, not a happy camper in MacOS X, instead quite content to stay in 9. He would walk it it back to the store where he bought it to ask them questions about it despite them having the same computer setup in their computer shop. Ugh!

Anyway, it’s turning into a veritable Mac warehouse around here.

Looking at the gorgeous flat screen monitor of the eMac I find myself momentarily tempted to keep it and sell my G4 tower instead. However, I love the fact that the G4 tower is so upgradeable whereas the eMac is really not. Despite the fact that my tower is somewhat quickly running out of hard drive space (a mere 3 GB left) I can grab a 80 GB hard drive for about $200 and throw that in there.

Anyway, if you have a burning desire to get a good deal on an eMac, let me know.
