Talk Without Speaking

Too fun. So we went and checked out the Sing-Along Sound of Music last night. Other than the entirely annoying host it was totally great. Everyone was handed a yellow bag as you entered the theatre. The bag contained several cards, a party-popper, a plastic eidelweiss flower. They were trying to make it very Rocky Horror Picture Show with all kinds of actions and gestures that you had to time with certain events in the movie. The best, by far, was the party-popper blast-off to the first kiss between Maria and the Count in the gazebo. (Clue: It was Maria in the Gazebo with the party-popper).

Anyway, it was a good time. I was particularly impressed with Ryan’s (evil) singing passion despite not having seen the show before!

Afterwards it was Cafe Crepe and the secret sauce (which we got to fix ourselves) while everyone very quickly ran out of steam.
